    My visit to NC has to include a stop for donuts on Saturday morning! Low and behold, Jelly Donuts I discover the heavenly answer to my prayers!

    Donuts galore! Fresh, fresh, fresh!
    Wow! So delicious! Totally melt in your mouth!

    Because it was my 1st time, I asked for a Large Dzn ($17) sample box. This allows for me to choose 12 of just about any size donuts in their huge display case. (Had I ordered the Smal Dzn ($13), there would have been restrictions limiting me to only the smaller (cake?) donuts. It was amazing and fun watching the flavored filling (choose your own flavoring: lemon, raspberry, strawberry, custard, blueberry, icing, etc) being pumped into the jelly donuts! I cannot wait to sample all the different varieties! Bear claws! Apple fritters! Red velvet! Strawberry or blueberry cake! Boston Cream! Cinnamon twists! Chocolate glazed and twists! Cinnamon rolls! Chocolate peanut crunch! The box overflowed with scrum-deli-icous-goodness! This is THE place for a breakfast donut treat! My return visits to NC will definitely include returning to Jelly Donuts!

    Great value, quality and service! I enjoy stopping here Friday afternoons on my way to Charlotte. They still have a good variety in the afternoon. The employees are helpful and friendly. The inside is small and plane, I have yet to sit and enjoy my monster donuts there. I really like the way they serve their filled donuts: order the donut bun, pick your filling, and they fill it right then and there. I think it helps the donuts not get too soggy sitting in the case all day.

    This place is sincerely the best donut I've ever had. The caramel iced is my weakness and I'm so glad I don't live close enough to eat here every day because I absolutely would! Anything from here is wonderful so even if you go later in the day and the selection has been picked over you still can't wrong with anything. Shop owner is sweet as she can be too.

    Sooo good! Stopped in on my way back to Charlotte and I'm glad I did. The lady that runs this place is awesome. Such a nice personality and welcoming to us when we got there. I ordered the doughnut holes and got a dozen for less than $2! Really? Who does that? She does! We also got a half dozen mix to bring home. These doughnuts are so soft and they melt in your mouth. The other patrons inside spoke so highly of this place it was like Krispy Kreme who? They all said they prefer this place and now I know why. Such a cute mom and pop spot and I love that vibe.

    These doughnuts put Krispy Kreme to shame. So fresh and tasty. The glazed twists are huge! Half a dozen for about six bucks! Can't beat it. People are so friendly. Definitely a good place to stop for your sweet tooth.
